Lidwala Lodge

Lidwala Lodge is a well-established accommodation facility located in the Ezulwini valley of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), situated on the slopes of Sheba's Breast mountain at the Roki Centre off the main MR103 road. Founded in 2006 as part of the All Out Africa Group, the lodge offers spectacular views across the valley and is renowned as one of Eswatini's premier backpacker destinations.

The property features a diverse range of accommodation options that can host up to 40 guests. These include private chalets with en-suite facilities, family chalets, double rooms, twin rooms, and dormitory-style rooms with bunk beds. The lodge also provides six safari tents, five caravan sites, and garden camping spaces suitable for various group sizes.

The lodge is thoughtfully designed with spacious verandas and is naturally integrated among large boulders (which inspired its name), indigenous trees, and a flowing stream. Facilities include swimming pool access, shared kitchen facilities, and various outdoor areas including braai (barbecue) facilities. Many rooms come equipped with ceiling fans, fridges, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Lidwala Lodge offers numerous on-site and nearby activities for guests, including hiking trails, bird-watching, and horse riding. The reception staff, available from 7am to 7pm, can arrange additional activities such as white water rafting and wildlife tours at no extra booking cost. The lodge caters to a diverse clientele, including travelers, families, students, volunteers, and business guests, providing a comfortable stay with a friendly atmosphere in the heart of the Ezulwini valley.
