Light House Beach Room

The Light House Guest House is a purpose-built, furnished room situated on the second floor, equipped with an en suite bathroom and a private deck. It is located in Glencairn Heights, Simons Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The room offers uninterrupted views of the majestic sea and mountains across False Bay from both the private deck and the bedroom, which can accommodate two people.

The guest house is situated 25 meters across from Glencairn Beach and tidal pool. Its central location places most of the Cape Peninsula's tourist attractions within a 30-minute drive, including the creative town of Kalk Bay, the quaint Simons Town, Boulders penguin beach, Cape Point, and Elsie's Peak hiking trail. Restaurants and shops are located nearby.

The room is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and an honesty bar. During the high season, a portable jacuzzi is available upon request at an additional minimal charge. The Light House Guest House provides a continental breakfast, all-inclusive, upon prior request. An honesty bar is available in the room, and a separate courtyard downstairs with a braai/barbeque area is also available upon prior request. No braaing/barbeque is allowed on the guest room deck.

The guest room is part of the main house but has a separate private entrance and staircase, with no access to the main house. Keys can be collected from the host or from a key safe box, and upon departure, keys can be left in the key safe or post box, as arranged. Allocated parking spots are available on the street directly below the deck.

The guest room is not suitable for pets or small children due to the presence of stairs and decks on the second floor, and there are no lawns available. However, infants under 1 and a half years old are allowed. The bedroom offers a queen bed with all-around views and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, and toilet. The sliding door leads onto a private deck with rustic bar chairs and a lounger.
