Lily Pond Country Lodge

Lily Pond Country Lodge is an Afro Zen-style Guest Lodge located in a prime position to explore Tsitsikamma National Park and Nature's Valley Beach & Lagoon. It is surrounded by 12 hectares of magnificent indigenous forest, with the famous Otter trail and many other trails nearby. The lodge has achieved a 4-Star grading, and staff members are fluent in Afrikaans, English, Dutch, and German.

The lodge offers 10 air-conditioned suites and rooms, each with a private patio and views of the beautiful lily ponds. It combines modern comfort, personalized attention, and tranquility. The owner, Margret, is an accomplished chef who prepares and presents dishes with flair. There is a large infinity pool with decking on different levels, and an on-site restaurant with vegetarian options and a patio overlooking the ponds and the pool.

Guests can enjoy the abundant bird and butterfly life or book a therapeutic massage treatment. Nearby activities include wine-tasting, hiking, horse riding, whale and dolphin watching, golf courses, as well as attractions like Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, and Tenikwa Wildlife Center. The maximum capacity of the lodge is 30 guests. It features a garden, a restaurant with catering services, and an in-house therapy area for massage treatments.

Upon request and when booked in advance, weather permitting, guests can have a private dinner on a small island in one of the ponds. The spacious air-conditioned rooms (35m2) feature 3.5m sliding doors opening onto a private terrace with views of the beautiful lily ponds and forest. All rooms are equipped with king or twin beds, TV, WiFi, safe, and a bathroom with double basins, a rain shower, and a bath.
