Lily's Cottage

Lily's Cottage is a self-catering accommodation located in Queensburgh, a quiet leafy suburb of Durban. It is a charming and spacious two-bedroom cottage. The cottage features two comfortable bedrooms with air conditioning, a well-appointed kitchen with a walk-in pantry, a lounge area, a bathroom with a bath, shower, and vanity, as well as a separate toilet. It also features a large enclosed balcony overlooking a pool and garden, braai facilities, DSTV, free WiFi, a lock-up safe, and secure parking with remote access.

The cottage can accommodate up to six people, with the main bedroom having a king-size bed (or two single beds) plus a three-quarter bed, the second bedroom offering a double bed, and the pause area equipped with a comfortable sleeper couch. A daily cleaning service is provided, excluding Sundays, and a laundry service is available.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the cottage undertakes extensive cleaning and disinfecting measures before and after every stay, with a full 24-hour break between bookings. The staff wears gloves, face masks, and face shields while cleaning, and they use alcohol hand rub before and after wearing gloves. Cleaning is performed when guests are out, or if circumstances do not allow it, guests are asked to wear face masks and move to another part of the accommodation. Hand wipes, handwash, and sanitizers are supplied in the unit.

The cottage features a private garden and a large main bedroom with a private balcony overlooking a private pool and garden. Children are welcome and have access to the large garden, but the pool is fully fenced, and children are not allowed without adult supervision. Additionally, the cottage offers a spacious open-plan air-conditioned apartment with an en-suite bathroom, a bath and shower combination, and a basic kitchenette equipped with a microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, egg boiler, crockery, and cutlery, but no stove. Guests have access to the pool and a private covered patio.
