Linaria Beach House is situated across the road from the beach in St Helena Bay, with beautiful sea views. The surroundings include long unspoiled white sand beaches, and tranquility rules in the area. It is the perfect home for family getaways or a breakaway.
The house consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all with showers. The main bedroom has a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom with his and hers basins, a shower and bath, a TV, and a patio with a view of the beach. The second bedroom has a double bed, the third bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed, and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. Other amenities include a large lounge with a double sleeper couch, a dining room with two flat screens and full DSTV, a fireplace/built-in braai, and an outside cold water shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
The house features a fully equipped kitchen and a scullery with a double bowl zinc and plenty of cupboard space for groceries. It has a double automated garage with additional parking outside. The house is fully alarmed with armed response available, though it has never been needed.
Wifi is available, and table tennis, darts, cards, and board games are provided free of charge, provided they are looked after. Guests need to bring their own accessories for table tennis and darts or pre-arrange to have them available upon arrival. The house is about 30 minutes from Club Mykonos, and Paternoster is a 20-minute drive via a gravel road. Local amenities such as a Spar, hardware store, liquor outlets, pharmacy, petrol station, police station, hospital, and doctors are nearby. The area offers lovely restaurants and cosy pubs.
The bay is suitable for various water sports like paddling, sailing, skiing, fishing, diving, kayaking, windsurfing, and bodyboarding, as well as walking or jogging. The Shelley Point Golf Club is within 4 km, and the Vredenburg Golf Club is 37 km away. Nearby dirt roads are ideal for mountain biking. A breakage deposit of R1500 and a cleaning fee of R500 are not included in the quoted price.
