Linglela Lodge

Linglela Lodge is an African-themed accommodation establishment situated in Estcourt, Natal Midlands, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Located close to the N3 highway between Johannesburg and Durban, and approximately 3km from Wagendrift dam, the lodge provides an ideal stopover or breakaway destination.

Set on a smallholding accessed via a 1.3km gravel road, the property features 10 en-suite bedrooms that can accommodate up to 20 guests. The rooms are decorated in African style and come with private entrances and undercover patios. Each unit is equipped with a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, TV with OpenView channels, bar fridge, microwave, and tea/coffee making facilities. The thatched roof chalets offer additional amenities including a kitchenette with stove, fridge-freezer, and toaster, plus a patio with picnic bench.

The lodge boasts a thatched-roof venue capable of hosting up to 300 guests for weddings, functions, and conferences. The establishment includes a pub called "Bosveld Lapa" with spectacular bushveld views, a dining room serving breakfast and dinner upon request, and comprehensive catering facilities. Additional services include packed lunches, take-away options, and braai packs that can be pre-ordered for room arrival.

The property features extensive gardens and offers guests easy access to local attractions including the Wagendrift Nature Reserve, where visitors can enjoy fishing and water sports. The venue combines natural elements such as stone and rough-hewn wood with traditional thatch roofing to create an authentic African atmosphere throughout the property.
