Linquenda Guest Farm

Linquenda Guest Farm is situated in a magnificent setting of mountains and vineyards. It is an ideal destination located on the Annandale Road off the R44, the main road joining Stellenbosch and Somerset West. The farm forms part of the Stellenbosch Wine Route, which is arguably the country's most famous wine route. Stellenbosch is the heart of South Africa's wine industry and a place of great beauty and culture.

Linquenda Guest Farm can be used as a base to explore some of the surrounding 106 wine cellars, the Cape Peninsula, Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Cape Town, Paarl, Franschhoek, and Wellington, all within an hour's drive from the farm. The farm's central location means it is merely 11 km from the nearest beach at the Strand and 30 km from Cape Town International Airport. It is also in close proximity to horse riding, mountain bike routes, great golf courses, and hiking trails. Cultural centres, theatres, art galleries, museums, and international art collections are also within close range. Wildlife is represented in the form of a local crocodile farm, cheetahs and birds of prey at Spier, Butterfly World, and several game reserves nearby.

Linquenda Guest Farm offers two self-catering apartments, each with two bedrooms comprising one queen-size and two single beds that can be joined together. The apartments boast two bathrooms, one en-suite, with all necessary amenities as well as a fully-equipped, open-plan kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and oven. A spacious lounge, with a peek of the Winelands, invites guests outside onto the deck with barbecue facilities and a beautiful view of Table Mountain. These units have air-conditioning to keep visitors cool during the hot summer months and a flat screen TV and decoders for entertainment during those cosy winter months, next to a beautiful fireplace.

Linquenda Guest Farm recently added a stand-alone, self-catering cottage to the available facilities. Pecanut Cottage, named after the big pecan nut trees close by, offers a fresh, modern interior that would make any domestic goddess green with envy. The two bedrooms with stone-finish bathroom promise a luxurious and relaxing stay.

The farm has ample space for children to run and play. There is a pool as well as a trampoline for them to enjoy. Linquenda Guest Farm also offers a luxury two-bedroom cottage on the ground floor with its own fenced-in garden. It has braai facilities, both kettle and open fire. The Oak cottage has a modern kitchen with a dishwasher and stove, fully equipped to cater for all needs. It has DSTV Premium and more. The swimming pool and trampoline are just around the corner.
