Lion's Lair

Lion's Lair is a private and secluded lodge situated next to the Crocodile River within the quiet beauty of Marloth Park, offering an ideal bushveld getaway for nature-loving groups visiting the scenic part of Mpumalanga. The lodge consists of four comfortably furnished bedrooms, with the first room having a double bed, the second room having four bunk beds, the third and fourth rooms featuring double beds, and the safari room equipped with a sofa couch.

The bedrooms offer complete privacy as they are separate from the main building, and camping cots and beds can be added to accommodate small children sharing with their parents. The spacious lounge features comfortable couches and a TV, with DSTV available at an additional cost. The lodge also features a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious dining area, while the braai area is perfect for entertaining.

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the swimming pool and appreciate the view of the nearby waterhole. The lodge is located within a conservancy, providing ample opportunities for guests to appreciate the abundance of bird and wildlife. It is also located between the Lionspruit Game Reserve and the Kruger National Park, ensuring that nature enthusiasts will not be disappointed.

After a day of adventure and discovery, guests can unwind with a drink in the private boma, appreciating an African sunset while relaxing on the deck and listening to the sounds of nocturnal nature all around. Lion's Lair offers four en-suite chalets separated from the main dwelling, with Chalet 1, 3, and 4 featuring double beds, Chalet 2 having two bunk beds that sleep four, and a sleeper couch in the safari room that sleeps two. Extra beds can be arranged for small children sharing with their parents.
