Lion Tree Top Lodge

Lion Tree Top Lodge is an exclusive safari accommodation situated in a private nature reserve bordering the western boundary of Kruger National Park in Limpopo, South Africa. The lodge, operated by experienced hospitality professionals since 1995, offers a unique African glamping experience in a game-rich area near Hoedspruit.

The property features five luxury treetop tents, each equipped with sunken or corner baths, inside and outside showers, large decks, fans, and bar fridges. All accommodations offer king or twin beds with canopy-style mosquito nets and include cozy sitting areas with tea and coffee stations. The Leopard family unit, which accommodates four people in two separate treetop tents, includes a fully equipped kitchen and boma overlooking the dam, making it ideal for self-catering families.

The lodge provides a relaxed atmosphere with a daily program that begins with morning coffee and freshly baked rusks, followed by guided walks and a substantial breakfast. Guests can spend their leisure time by the pool while observing the nearby waterhole. Afternoon activities include bush walks, culminating in sundowners at the bar beneath a giant Huilboerboon tree. Evening meals are served either in the boma or on the lodge veranda. Activities available at the reserve include game drives, bush walks, and day trips to Kruger National Park in open vehicles, with the owners ensuring personal attention throughout guests' stays.
