Lions Valley Lodge

Lions Valley Lodge is situated in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, within easy reach of the central Drakensberg and many of the historic battlefields. It is located in a malaria-free virgin bushveld area, with mixed vegetation of savannah grasslands, indigenous trees, and shrubs. The area is home to the Big 5, as well as offering the ideal habitat for a large variety of antelope, smaller game species, and an abundant birdlife.

Visitors are accommodated in exclusive, free-standing thatched suites, offering guests maximum privacy. The decor of each of the ten suites follows a special individual theme, and each suite has a luxurious bedroom with a walk-in cupboard and spacious lounge area. The en-suite bathrooms feature two bathtubs that invite long indulgent soaks, and his and hers showers in both the bathroom as well as outdoors for an added touch of magic under the African sky.

The pool terrace at the Main Lodge offers a wonderful area where guests can socialize, cool off in the spectacular rim-flow infinity pool, or spend a few hours relaxing on the comfortable poolside loungers enjoying the panoramic view over the game reserve and waterhole. The rates are fully inclusive of accommodation, all meals, and two game drives per day, including snacks and refreshments. Lions Valley Lodge exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to submit to the magic of the African bush.

Beds in the luxury suites can be made up as either a king-size bed or twin beds. Children are accommodated on a double sleeper couch in the same suite as parents, with a maximum of two children allowed. The rate includes three meals and two game drives per full day, with lunch, dinner, and an afternoon game drive on the day of arrival, and a game drive and breakfast on the day of departure.
