Lodge 485's operations are primarily conducted in the 400-hectare Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, which is a conserved and picturesque part of the Lowveld bushveld. The estate features a diverse and beautiful fauna, including various breeds of buck such as impala, springbok, and waterbuck, as well as zebras, giraffes, warthogs, and a range of other animals. Occasional visits from eagles and other majestic birds are also witnessed.
