Lodge On Main

Lodge On Main is a 4-star guest house and conference center located in Walmer, Port Elizabeth. It serves as a venue for conferences, accommodations, and various functions. The establishment is owned and operated with a sincere passion for hospitality, which is evident in the attention to detail and care taken in its renovations.

The modern conference venue can accommodate 15 delegates in the boardroom and 30 in the main meeting room. The rooms are separated by shutter doors and can be combined to accommodate up to 40 delegates. The conference rooms are carpeted and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable environment year-round. Full-day conference packages are reasonably priced from R210 per delegate, with a venue hire fee of R650. Half-day conference venue hire is available for R500.

The guest house features nine stylish bedrooms, each named after breathtaking tree paintings featured in the room. All rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, DSTV (hospitality bouquet channel selections), tea and coffee stations, ceiling fans, and bedside radio alarm clocks. Some rooms have private balconies, while two overlook the picturesque back garden. Rooms 7 and 8 can be combined to create a family cottage with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a patio, and a fully equipped kitchen onto a cozy lounge/TV room.

The lodge offers an elegant and trendy new bar with a heart-warming wood fireplace and a function venue that flows onto an undercover patio overlooking lush gardens and a rim flow pool. The pool area is weather-protected by canvas drop-blinds, providing an ideal setting for special occasions such as cocktail parties, year-end functions, product launches, small intimate weddings, awards evenings, bridal or baby showers.

Lodge On Main is conveniently located near main shopping centers, the Walmer Country Club golf course, health spas, bistros, coffee shops, and popular restaurants. It is also in close proximity to nightclubs for guests looking to experience the local nightlife. The guest house is not pet-friendly, but long-stay special rates are available upon inquiry.
