Loerie Cabin is a 4m x 4m wooden cabin containing two single beds, which can be made up as a king-size bed when required. It features a wardrobe and a fully equipped kitchenette, as well as a lovely deck with a beautiful view of the mountain and valley below. The cabin is equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a two-plate gas stove. It has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin.
The deck has a braai facility with a bench under the trees, where the resident Knysna Loeries birds can be spotted at times. The cottage offers Wi-Fi and a DStv access package, as well as water tanks to ensure a comfortable stay.
The yard is fenced with gates suitable for pets, and it is a very short walk to the Grey Dam and up Mountain Drive for walks with dogs. The cabin is situated in a lovely, quiet area of Grahamstown, on the side of the Mountain, but very close to Rhodes University and the CBD.
The road to Loerie Cabin is a gravel road, but it is easily accessible with any vehicle, and everyone in the area uses the road.
