Long Creek Lodge

Long Creek Lodge is a retreat located in the quiet village of Kaapsehoop, one of the first alluvial gold mining towns established in the old Transvaal. The exclusive lodge offers a luxurious atmosphere and clean mountain air. It features five individual en-suite luxury rooms, a cosy ladies bar, and a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and supper cuisine.

The lodge is known for its opulent lounge overlooking the surrounding countryside and forests, which provides an ideal ambiance for evenings alongside the log fire, especially during the dense summer mists. Additionally, it has a games room with a full-sized snooker table for entertainment.

The area around Long Creek Lodge is renowned for its diverse hiking trails, with footpaths winding around amazing rock formations, aloes, trees, wild flowers, and the stunning Battery Creek Falls. Horses roam freely in the area, coexisting with the residents.

Each en-suite room at the lodge is equipped with a TV, a bar fridge, coffee and tea facilities, heated towel rails, and down duvets. The rooms offer individual access to and views of the expansive gardens.
