Louterwater Landgoed

Louterwater Landgoed is a working apple and pear farm located in Langkloof, in the Eastern Cape. It offers accommodation in Log Cabins and Cottages. Each unit has its own ablution facilities consisting of showers and toilets, as well as access to a communal kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, and fridge.

The Log Cabins are situated next to a river and are suitable for families or groups. Each cabin has bunk beds, but guests need to bring their own linen and towels. Guests are permitted to pitch tents near the cabins at an additional cost.

The Cottages are available on a bed-and-breakfast or self-catering basis. Guest cottages cost R300 per person per night for self-catering and R370 per person per night for bed and breakfast. The Cottages are furnished with comfortable double or single beds and have TVs with DStv. Breakfast is served, and dinner can be provided at an extra cost.

The farm has lovely fruit orchards, and for hikers, part of the farm is engulfed by the Tsitsikamma Mountains. Guests are allowed to bring their own bikes or quad bikes. Activities on offer include swimming in the river, hiking in the mountains, fishing in the dams, or simply staying over on a business trip.
