Mabalingwe Caravan Park

Mabalingwe Caravan Park is situated in the malaria-free Mabalingwe Game Reserve, nestled within the scenic Waterberg Mountains. Located just 28 kilometers west of Bela Bela in Limpopo Province, South Africa, the park is conveniently accessible within a two-hour drive from Johannesburg.

The facility features 70 camping stands, both paved and grassed, with most sites benefiting from natural shade provided by indigenous trees. Each stand comes equipped with standard electrical connections. The park's infrastructure includes three ablution blocks and two family bathrooms, with refuse bins distributed throughout the grounds and maintained daily.

As a Big Five reserve, Mabalingwe offers visitors the opportunity to experience diverse wildlife and stunning natural scenery. The park provides various outdoor activities suitable for families, including a bicycle track, putt-putt course, hot and cold swimming pools with slides, jungle gym, and volleyball court. Guests can enjoy guided game drives, horseback safaris, and predator tours while staying on the reserve.

For visitors' convenience, the park operates an on-site convenience shop and liquor store. The R&R Buffalo Bar serves pizzas and pub-style meals. The location is particularly notable for its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, abundant birdlife, and immersive African bushveld experience. The reserve maintains a strict policy of accommodating only overnight guests, with no day visitors permitted.
