The Macabelel Lodge is a beautiful stone lodge situated on the riverbank of the higher Klip River in the Steenkampsberg region. It is privately located on a 520-hectare private nature reserve, with 3 kilometers of river frontage. The lodge offers exclusivity and tranquil surroundings for its guests.

The lodge can accommodate up to 11 guests in five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It has electricity powered by a generator, and a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes. The large lounge area provides a comfortable retreat for guests. Outside, amid the acres of space and uninterrupted solitude, there is a braai area ideal for hosting memorable evenings. The lodge also features a garage for guests' vehicles.
