Mackaya Bella Lodge

Mackaya Bella Lodge is located within the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Mountain Range, which is the highest mountain range in South Africa and has been declared a World Heritage Site. The lodge is located below this unique mountain range and guarantees guests a wonderful stay. It has three exclusive stone clad cottages or rondawels under thatch roofs, with each room uniquely furnished and set in landscaped gardens.

Each room is equipped with a queen size bed for two people sharing, an en-suite shower, and separate toilets. The lodge provides bathroom towels and guest amenities. Some rooms have their own verandas and mountain views. Optional extras include the addition of single beds to each room, bringing the total number of beds in the room to one queen and one or two single beds. One of the rooms and the lodge itself are wheelchair friendly.

All rooms have heating, fans, flat screen TVs, DStv satellite channels, and the full bouquet. Tea and coffee facilities are provided, and the rooms are only serviced upon request. This summer, guests can discover the enchantment of Arabian Nights in a tented sanctuary with a private outdoor bathroom. The tent is situated immediately adjacent to the lodge and its communal lounge, dining area, and television with Netflix.
