Magoebaskloof Camping Sites are situated in the scenic mountainous setting of Magoebaskloof in the Limpopo Province near Haenertsburg and Tzaneen, less than a three-hour drive from Pretoria. The camping sites provide a serene stopover for travelers and holiday makers, offering an oasis of peace and tranquility amidst lush subtropical vegetation, fresh running water, and cool mountain air.

Visitors are free to wander through the forests and along the river, experiencing the prolific bird life and potentially spotting the protected and rare Samango monkeys in a peaceful environment. The 64-hectare farm features approximately 4 hectares of gardens and 1.5 hectares of dams, with 10 clearly demarcated camping sites, each measuring approximately 10m x 10m. Each site has its own braai area with a switchable light, a table top, a spot for wood or charcoal storage, and a dustpan.

The camping area is well-equipped with socket outlets protected by a 15-amp circuit breaker with an earth leakage, as required by law. Each site also has its own tap for drinking water, and the area is illuminated with lights at every second site for visibility and ambiance. The ablution facilities are modern and tiled, with separate sections for males and females, each featuring showers with glass pivot doors, changing areas, toilets, and basins with mirrors and plug points.

Recreational facilities include a volleyball court and a beautiful hiking trail leading to the top of the farm alongside a perennial stream, featuring three stunning waterfalls where visitors can shower in crystal-clear spring water or experience the thrill of swinging on monkey ropes. Overall, Magoebaskloof Camping Sites offer an opportunity to experience nature at its finest and provide a welcoming respite for travelers.
