Mahala View

Mahala View lodge is located in the Leeuwgedacht Conservancy, adjoining the Dinokeng Big 5 reserve in Dinokeng. It offers a tranquil environment with views of the surroundings. The lodge provides overnight accommodation options for guests who seek peace and quiet.

The accommodation facilities at Mahala View include the Kings View chalets, which are situated a short distance from the camp for privacy, and the Lion's Den chalets. All accommodation units are fully equipped for self-catering.

The lodge has a multi-purpose area called the Lion's Deck, which can be used for conferences, meetings, or for guests to relax and read a book. This area is located by the swimming pool and is suitable for open-air group functions. Mahala View also offers game drives upon request.

The Kings View chalets can be accessed by 2x4, 4x4, or front-wheel-drive vehicles. These three spacious chalets are set on the mountainside, offering beautiful views of the valley below. Each chalet has an open-plan layout with an en-suite shower, basin, and toilet, as well as a queen-size bed. The chalets feature lovely verandas overlooking the valley and have their own built-in braai/BBQ areas. They are equipped with a fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. A hiking trail leading into the mountain is located nearby, offering a nature experience.
