Mahikeng Lodge - Magaliesburg

Mahikeng Lodge offers an uncompromising luxury experience providing an up-close and personal encounter with South Africa's rugged bushveld. It is located in the hills of the Magaliesberg Meander, approximately an hour away from Johannesburg. The lodge is designed to immerse guests in Africa's true nature, blending the comfort of luxury with the wild of Africa.

The lodge features a game farm with 13 different species of game and extensive bird life. It has four luxury self-catering double-storey units, each consisting of two en-suite bedrooms with outdoor showers. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a large open-planned lounge with television, and an adjacent dining room. The lounge opens out onto a vast wooden deck with a braai (barbeque) area.

Each unit sleeps four guests, with a sleeper couch available. The units offer a beautiful refuge of stone, wood, and glass, seamlessly merging with the surrounding bushveld. They are serviced daily, allowing guests to enjoy every special moment. Guests can follow walking trails, go mountain biking, or enjoy leisurely sundowners while observing the diverse wildlife on their doorstep.

The lodge provides wheelchair-friendly accommodation with five bedrooms that can be configured as doubles or singles upon request. It has three bathrooms, and all bedrooms are air-conditioned. The bush lodge comfortably accommodates eight adults and four children in an open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen.
