Majuli River Lodge

Majuli River Lodge is a cozy two-bedroom house with a large deck offering over 2 kilometers of uninterrupted views of the Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the highlights of Mpumalanga, such as God's Window and the Blyde River Canyon.

During their stay, guests can anticipate regular visits from various animals, including elephants, buffalos, rhinos, and waterbucks, as they come down to the river in front of the lodge. The lodge is situated in Marloth Park, which features a safe environment with abundant wildlife. Its unique location directly overlooking the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park allows visitors to relax on the deck and observe the Big 5 animals as they approach the river.

The first-floor bedroom features two single beds, air conditioning, and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen and dining area are equipped with a refrigerator, sink, oven, and a table, leading onto a raised patio area and a splash pool. The second-floor bedroom offers a double bed, air conditioning, and a bathroom with a shower. Additionally, there is a living room with a couch and double doors opening onto a deck overlooking the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park.

Evenings can be spent at the fire pit enjoying a braai or on the deck, where guests can listen to the night sounds of hippos, hyenas, and the thrilling call of lions. Visitors have the opportunity to plan trips into the Kruger National Park or spend the day in Marloth Park itself, experiencing a real bush experience on a guided bush walk with a local tracker. The lodge is particularly appealing to birdwatchers, and guests can visit the fenced private reserve to spot the resident pride of lions.
