Makuwa Safari Lodge

Makuwa Safari Lodge is situated in the Greater Kruger National Park, approximately 20 kilometers from the Orpen Gate. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the Kruger National Park and the surrounding areas of Mpumalanga. The lodge is child-friendly, offering a welcoming environment for families.

Guests have the opportunity to enjoy cocktails while witnessing the sunset over the Drakensberg mountains, followed by delicious meals prepared by the staff. Beyond the lawns, behind the fence, lies Makuwa Safari Lodge's private reserve, which is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including buffalo, zebras, nyalas, kudus, and occasionally leopards, wild dogs, and lions.

Makuwa Safari Lodge is an open and airy establishment. The open-plan kitchen and living area lead to a sheltered patio. Additionally, there is a boma area under fig trees, providing an ideal setting for enjoying meals under the starry sky.

Each twin room is equipped with two three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower, mosquito net, ceiling fan, and an outside patio with garden views. The rooms have been carefully designed to ensure a light and airy ambiance, with ample open spaces.
