Makweti Safari Lodge is an exclusive luxury accommodation nestled within the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve in South Africa's Limpopo Province. The lodge embraces a timeless African aesthetic that pays homage to the era of explorers like Livingstone and Hemingway, while maintaining a harmonious relationship with its natural surroundings.

Located within a UNESCO Biosphere, the lodge sits in prime "Big Five" territory, where elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions, and leopards roam freely across the 40,000-hectare reserve. A notable feature is the stream-fed waterhole, positioned just 80 yards from the main lodge's viewing deck, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

The intimate lodge accommodates a maximum of ten guests across five luxurious suites, each thoughtfully designed to integrate with the natural landscape. Some suites are accessed via a swing bridge over the Makweti gorge, while others feature private plunge pools and extended teak decks with thatched overhangs.
