Malachite Guest House

The Malachite Guest House offers five en-suite rooms, each with private access, a queen-size bed, coffee and tea facilities, a heater, and a TV with selected DStv channels. The Executive Suite features a private lounge area. Additionally, there is a public lounge area where guests can interact with one another while enjoying a nightcap.

The establishment is secured with a concrete and electric fence, and there is a 24-hour security reaction unit on the premises. The manager also resides on the property. A full English breakfast is included in the rate, and lunch and dinner can be catered upon request. The staff are trained to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed, aiming to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience.

The Malachite Guest House is situated in Midrand, approximately 25 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport and equidistant between the cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria. The surrounding area comprises several horse estates, creating a countryside ambiance, yet shopping centers and malls in Midrand and Centurion are just a 10-minute drive away.

One of the rooms offered is a small and comfortable en-suite room with a private entrance and access to the verandah. This room is ideal for a one-night stay or a longer period on a tight budget.
