Mangwa African Safari

Mangwa Lodge is a private lodge located within a 2000-hectare nature reserve. It is marketed as a high-end luxury destination for discerning travelers. The lodge is situated in a secluded corner of the reserve, guaranteeing total peace and quiet with only the sounds of birds, insects, and animals surrounding visitors. Guests can enjoy comfortable accommodations with queen-size beds, fresh white linens, air conditioning, amenities, hair dryers, bath towels, swimming towels, a tea and coffee station, and a well-stocked mini-bar.

A stay at Mangwa Lodge includes all meals, including a boma braai and high tea, as well as game drives with sundowners, optional night drives, and guided bush walks led by a resident game ranger who is an FGASA wildlife guide. Additional services such as drinks, laundry, and transfers to/from OR Tambo airport may also be included. The lodge caters to small and intimate weddings with a maximum of 12 guests and offers various additional services like spa treatments, guided big game drives in safari 4x4 landcruisers, guided bush walks/hikes, guided mountain bike cycling, breakfast in the bush, sundowners, private dinners, romantic room makeovers, photo shoots, surprise romantic event planning, picnic in the bush, honeymoon couple retreat, and champagne and rose petals.

Mangwa Lodge is family-oriented, and children are welcome on game drives. Special efforts are made to introduce children to game, insects, and plants, and games and puzzles are available. Additionally, a child minder can be arranged. The accommodations consist of one-bedroom units furnished with elegant furniture, a queen/king-size bed fitted with superior linens, an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath, two basins, a toilet, and modern amenities supplied.
