Manor On The Bay is a historical guesthouse that was built in 1862 and later served as the summer residence for the Beit family from Ireland. It is situated at the foot of the Steenbras Mountain and overlooks the blue waters of False Bay.

The guesthouse offers uninterrupted power supply and is loadshedding-free, making it fully operational during power outages. It provides tranquil accommodation in Gordon's Bay, Cape Town, and is only 20 paces from the beach, where conditions for swimming and sunbathing are perfect. A walking trail under a canopy of Milkwood trees leads to a variety of quality restaurants, bars, and a unique bookshop. A three-minute walk takes guests to the yacht harbor, from where daily excursions for deep-sea fishing, whale and shark watching/diving, and sunset cruises depart.

Manor On The Bay is located on the scenic Route 43 and offers safe off-street parking. It includes a health/cold food buffet and a hot English breakfast. The guesthouse provides luxury accommodation in all 11 en-suite bedrooms with bed and breakfast. It has disabled-friendly rooms and inter-leading family rooms, and offers function facilities for weddings, cocktail parties, and product launches.

The guesthouse features spectacular sunset views over False Bay and the Helderberg Mountains.
