Mariannhill Missionaries House

The Mariannhill Missionaries House is a five-bedroom self-catering cottage located near the beach in Melville, on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal. It is situated in close proximity to various shops and restaurants, making it an ideal place for a group of friends or a large family seeking a peaceful holiday.

The cottage belongs to the Missionaries of Mariannhill, a Roman Catholic Congregation, but it welcomes guests of any religion. It has a small chapel-room attached to the cottage that can be used for quiet moments of reflection if desired.

The house comprises five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge, and a kitchen. All the rooms have twin beds that can be joined together if needed. Bed linen is provided. One bathroom contains a shower and a bath, while the other has a shower only. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven. The lounge area is comfortable and features a TV with DStv.

There is a large veranda at the back of the house, and a huge garden ideal for children to play or for enjoying a braai. A lockable garage with space for two vehicles is provided. There is also a swimming pool built at the beach, with fresh waters from the sea, which children can use under adult supervision.

The rate displayed is for four adults occupying the cottage and varies according to the number of guests.
