Marland Farm

Marland Farm is a smallholding located at the foot of Prince Alfred's Pass, approximately 15 minutes' drive from Plettenberg Bay. It offers expansive views of the Outeniqua Mountain Range and has an atmosphere of peace and serenity. The accommodation is provided in a self-catering cottage called Sanders Cottage, which is well-equipped and comfortably furnished, offering a homely experience.

Sanders Cottage can accommodate four people in two bedrooms, with a double bed in the main bedroom and two three-quarter beds in the second bedroom. It features an open-plan lounge, dining room, and kitchen area, as well as a covered patio with lounging and dining furniture, offering fabulous views. Guests can relax by the pool, enjoy a braai, or sit around the fire pit. The cottage also provides opportunities for walks, cycling, or simply relaxing on the covered patio while taking in the scenic views.

The location offers unsurpassed sunrises and clear night skies, making it ideal for stargazing. Visitors can observe a wide range of bird life, from tiny sunbirds to the majestic Cape eagle owl, by bringing binoculars. Nearby attractions include various "must-see" places, and the beaches of Plettenberg Bay and Keurbooms are just a 15-minute drive away.

The two-bedroomed cottage has a north-easterly outlook over the magnificent Outeniqua Mountain Range. The well-equipped kitchen features a gas stove, microwave oven, sandwich toaster, and a dishwasher. There is one bathroom with a shower-over-bath and a separate toilet. The covered patio offers wonderful mountain views and leads to a pretty section of the garden with a lovely maple tree, creating a perfect spot for a romantic alfresco meal.
