Marloth Park Reverie Safari Lodge

Marloth Park Reverie Safari Lodge is a relaxing and enjoyable destination for nature enthusiasts, offering all the comforts of home. The house is decorated with pieces from across Africa, featuring warm colors and an eclectic blend of antiques and modern furnishings, including an iron stove converted to electricity. The bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning units and high-quality mattresses for a good night's sleep.

The lodge comprises two bedrooms, one with a loft and an additional bed, two full bathrooms, and a sleeper couch. It offers amenities such as DStv and broadband internet. Situated just 15 minutes away from the world-famous Kruger National Park, the lodge attracts regular animal visitors like kudu, zebras, warthogs, monkeys, and giraffes, while hundreds of birds make their home in the surrounding trees.

The property is located next to Lionspruit, the private game reserve for Marloth Park, home to four of the Big 5 animals, and the sounds of lions can sometimes be heard at night. The house rests between an open plain of parkland where animals come to graze or drink at the pond, and a summer river with its unique riverine biosphere. Large shade trees surround the house, providing coolness and privacy. Decks at the front and rear extend the living space outdoors, and an outdoor shower allows guests to fully immerse themselves in nature, while a splash pond helps keep them cool. No other houses are visible from the property or decks, creating a sense of complete immersion in nature.

Wildlife roams freely through the park, which borders the Kruger National Park, just a 15-minute drive away. Located at the base of a small hill and surrounded by huge shade trees, the house offers privacy and is perfect for a romantic getaway without loud or nosy neighbors. The two bedrooms feature queen-size beds and mosquito nets, fans, and air-conditioning units. One room has an additional loft with a three-quarter bed. A sleeper couch in the upstairs living area provides sleeping accommodation for an additional two guests (without air conditioning). There are two full bathrooms, one offering a bathtub and the other a shower.
