Maroela Game Trails

Maroela Game Trails is a family-owned establishment situated in the Loskop Valley near Groblersdal, Limpopo Province, South Africa. The property is operated by Michael Basson, a qualified Nature Conservationist, and offers a diverse wildlife experience featuring various species including giraffe, eland, oryx, kudu, nyala, zebra, blue wildebeest, impala, hartebeest, ostrich, warthog, and occasional leopard sightings.

The accommodation options include various rooms, suites, and tented camps. The thatched-roof Maroela chalets feature air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities, and access to a splash pool. The Hunter's House comprises three indoor and three outdoor rooms with full bathrooms, and includes amenities such as a boma, lapa with display fridge, pool table, dart board, and full DStv access. The tented camp features the communal Bongo Boma with a large swimming pool and the Thomson's Gazelle lapa, which includes three televisions with full DStv and can be reserved for private functions.

The property's centerpiece is the Maroela Pub & Grill restaurant, which was thoughtfully constructed around an existing Maroela tree. The establishment caters to various events including weddings, conferences, birthday celebrations, and other private gatherings. A notable feature is their weekly Sunday buffet service.

The accommodation units range from standard double and twin rooms to luxury tented camps and a honeymoon suite. All rooms are equipped with modern amenities and private bathrooms. The honeymoon suite offers additional features including an outdoor shower, open-plan living area, and private braai facilities. The tented camps can accommodate up to four guests and provide access to communal facilities.
