Marrick Safari

Marrick Safari is a private game reserve situated in the heart of the Northern Cape, South Africa. The 3000-hectare property offers a pristine African savannah setting dedicated to conservation, particularly of rare antelopes like Roan and Sable, while also supporting local communities.

The reserve provides diverse accommodation options, starting with their meticulously restored Guest House, the original farmstead residence. This elegant establishment features five bedrooms, including a honeymoon suite with an en-suite bathroom. The property offers four self-catering cottages: Country Cottage, Guinea Fowl Cottage, Impala Cottage, and Hunter's Cottage, accommodating between 6-10 guests each.

The Impala Cottage provides five varied rooms with a combination of single, double, and family configurations, featuring both shared and en-suite bathrooms. The Country Cottage offers three rooms with air conditioning and comprehensive facilities. The Guinea Fowl Cottage includes three rooms with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities including a TV with local channels. The Hunter's Cottage, enclosed by a reed boma, features two air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite facilities.

For a more rustic experience, the Ribbok Campsite offers six two-man tents with basic facilities, situated beneath a rocky koppie overlooking the Flamingo Pan. Additionally, the Owlbox campsite provides an en-suite camping option with modern amenities including electricity and hot water.

The reserve offers various activities including game drives, night drives, Sengi drives, guided walks, birdwatching, and helicopter tours. Marrick Safari also supports responsible hunting practices as part of their conservation efforts, providing visitors with an authentic South African wildlife experience combined with warm hospitality.
