Martinique 41, Ballito

Martinique 41 is a self-catering unit situated in a beachfront complex in Shaka's Rock, Ballito. The complex is located within a short walking distance from Thompson's Bay, a lifeguard-protected swimming beach with a large tidal pool, shallow paddling pools, and shark nets. Thompson's Bay is a popular beach situated in a cove, offering protection from wind and providing opportunities to observe dolphins swimming from the unit's balcony.

The unit is situated on the first floor and offers stunning sea views from its large private balcony. It features an open-plan kitchen fully equipped with an oven/stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery for four guests. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. The unit has two bathrooms, one en-suite with a bath and shower, and the other with a shower. It can accommodate up to four people.

The lounge area is furnished with comfortable leather couches, a TV, and DStv (satellite television). The lounge area, main bedroom, and second bedroom all lead through sliding doors to the large patio. The complex offers a beautiful communal swimming pool, which is fully fenced, and shared braai (barbeque) facilities. Access to the complex is controlled through a remote-controlled gate with security guards present at night.

The unit is serviced except on Sundays and public holidays. Linen is provided, but guests are required to bring their own bath towels and beach towels. The area offers excellent restaurants and a variety of shops, including the nearby Junction mall, which caters to most needs. The unit is also less than a 20-minute drive from the King Shaka International Airport.
