Marulani Bush Lodge is nestled in the heart of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, just 48km north of Pretoria, South Africa. This malaria-free sanctuary offers visitors a unique bushveld experience in a diverse landscape that encompasses open plains, typical bushveld, and distinctive rocky outcrops.
The lodge features four fully equipped, self-catering, freestanding chalets, each strategically positioned to provide guests with complete privacy and stunning views of the surrounding bush. Each unit comes with its own private patio and barbeque area, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural environment while enjoying modern comforts.
The accommodation options include the family-friendly Maroela cottage, which overlooks beautiful gardens and can accommodate up to six guests; the Hak en Steek chalet for four guests, featuring views of the watering hole; the romantic Kurkbos honeymoon suite for two; and the Kierieklapper cottage, which accommodates three guests and offers a secluded bushveld experience near the boundary fence.
The lodge offers various activities including guided safari game drives in open vehicles, where guests can encounter the Big-5 and numerous other wildlife species. Additional experiences include romantic bushveld picnics, birding safaris, and photographic safaris. A hide overlooking the watering hole provides excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, while the lodge's lapa with its adjoining open-air boma and fire pit serves as an ideal setting for private functions.
Guests can expect to witness an abundance of wildlife, including lions, buffalo, rhino, antelope, zebra, and giraffes, along with a rich variety of birdlife.
