Marulani Bush Lodge

Marulani Bush Lodge is situated in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, a pristine wilderness area of 29,500 hectares located in northern Gauteng. The lodge offers accommodation in four units that can accommodate four guests each. Each unit is equipped with a ceiling fan, a freestanding heater, and a covered patio with braai facilities.

The area offers a range of activities, including guided game drives, tours, and traditional African bush brackets that can be arranged in advance. Guests can enjoy breakfast before embarking on a game drive, and savor their morning coffee accompanied by home-baked rusks. For a romantic experience, guests can indulge in a sunset picnic in the secluded surroundings of the lodge.

The lodge offers guided safari game drives in open safari vehicles, promising encounters with a variety of wildlife, including the Big-5, numerous plains game, and a rich and diverse population of birds. Tucked away in a far corner of the reserve, offering complete privacy for couples, is the luxurious honeymoon suite known as "Kurkbos," situated directly on the perimeter fence and boasting a superb view of the reserve.

The comfortable, fully equipped, self-catering, and freestanding chalets are perfectly positioned, overlooking lush bush and providing total privacy. Each chalet has a private patio and barbeque area. Guests can wake up to the beauty of the South African bush, a chorus of birdsong, and enjoy breakfast on their private patio while taking in the sight of big game visiting the watering hole. The outdoor hot shower is a favorite among guests.
