Masorini Bush Lodge is a tranquil retreat situated on the outskirts of Phalaborwa, South Africa. The property encompasses 42 hectares of natural bush and offers a selection of self-catering accommodations, including two A-frame chalets and seven rondavel chalets. Each unit features a private bathroom, toilet, king-size bed, fully equipped outdoor kitchen, and a terrace overlooking the bush.
Located just 6 kilometers from Phalaborwa and 11 kilometers from one of the Kruger National Park entrances, the lodge provides convenient access to major attractions. While not situated in a Big 5 area, the property is home to diverse wildlife including impala, wild boar, waterbuck, duikers, and guinea fowl, with occasional elephant sightings. A dam on the property serves as a natural water source for local wildlife.
The lodge offers guests the freedom to explore the bush at their leisure and provides optional full-catering services, including breakfast and dinner served under the Lapa using fresh local ingredients. Phalaborwa, the nearby mining town, is notable for housing Africa's widest man-made hole, with a diameter of almost 2,000 meters.
This intimate bush lodge combines the comfort of modern amenities with an authentic African bush experience, making it an ideal base for exploring the Greater Kruger region.
