Matalatala Wildlife Reserve

The Matalatala Wildlife Reserve is situated in the heart of the bushveld region, and it offers a close encounter with wildlife. It is conveniently located just 30 minutes away from the Zambezi Drive in Pretoria, making it an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation.

The reserve features an authentic African thatched lodge and luxurious suites. The suites are private and comfortable, equipped with fans, tea and coffee-making facilities, and private patios. The lodge features various communal areas that foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests have access to a shared swimming pool.

One of the highlights of the reserve is the frequent visits from resident wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, warthogs, and kudus. The area is well-suited for leisurely strolls and bicycle rides. Additionally, the reserve houses a wedding chapel on its premises.

The "Al fresco" facility can cater to up to 150 guests, while the open-air boma can accommodate up to 100 guests. This unit features two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a mes, and an open-plan sleeping area for two people.
