Mattanu Private Game Reserve provides personalized packages tailored to each guest's specific needs. The 4-star accommodation includes a deck and braai facility, as well as luxury tents with air conditioning for hot summer nights and underfloor heating for chilly winter evenings. The reserve is located between camel thorn trees and wildlife, offering a secluded and relaxing environment with a luxurious lodge featuring an underground wine cellar and bar facility. The chalet can accommodate between two and ten people comfortably, while two luxury tents with private decks are also available. The lodge overlooks a popular watering hole where wildlife sightings are common.

The reserve offers full catering with venison dishes and traditional South African cooking, either prepared over open fires or in the restaurant. Game drives are conducted on comfortable game viewing vehicles, and visitors can also arrange helicopter game viewing, filming and photographic safaris, hands-on game capturing experiences, and green and trophy hunting safaris. Over 36 species can be viewed on the reserve, including endangered roan and sable antelopes, as well as a disease-free buffalo breeding project.

Each tent also features a private viewing deck overlooking a waterhole.
