Matyholweni Rest Camp Addo Elephant National Park Sanparks

Matyholweni Rest Camp, which translates to "in the bush" in Xhosa, is located near the coastal town of Colchester at the Sundays River Mouth, 3 km off the N2 highway in the Addo Elephant National Park. It provides a second gateway into the park and is easily accessible. Amenities such as shops, restaurants, and a fuel station are available in the nearby town.

The cottage (CO2) at Matyholweni Rest Camp features 2 single beds, barbeque facilities, access from the N2 road open to the Main Camp, check-in at Matyholweni itself (not the Main Camp), DSTV (limited channels), an equipped kitchen, a fan, a fridge, a microwave, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. No additional persons are allowed, and it is a non-smoking unit with an open plan layout.

It is important to note that the rates displayed are the base rate for 1-2 adults. Additional charges will apply for additional adults and children. The rates exclude the compulsory SANP community levy, which will be included in the quote. SANParks daily conservation fees are not included and are payable upon arrival at the camp.
