A two-bedroom self-catering house with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen that includes a dishwasher is available. The house can comfortably accommodate four guests. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has two single beds. Bedding is provided, but guests are required to bring their own towels. All windows are equipped with mosquito netting, and each room has a ceiling fan.

Guests can connect their single view DStv decoder (cables provided) or external hard drive (USB port) to the television provided at the house. The house is air-conditioned and features a large outdoor entertainment area with a braai situated next to the plunge pool. McGregor Blue borders a protected nature area in Marloth Park, a large eco-friendly reserve where giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala, and warthog roam freely. The bird sightings in the area are quite spectacular.

Recently, a cottage has been added to McGregor Blue, accommodating an additional four guests. The cottage consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, a lounge, and a wonderful under-cover veranda. The main bedroom of the cottage has a double bed, and the second bedroom has two single beds. The cottage is equipped with one air-conditioner and three ceiling fans. The main house and cottage are rented as a unit for eight people, with the main house accommodating a maximum of four guests.

Guests can enjoy warm, quiet evenings with the inquisitive bush babies while listening to the calls of lions and the cackle of hyenas from across the Crocodile River. Currently, a family of bush babies resides in the newly installed bush baby house, and many birds frequent the bird feeder, providing excellent photo opportunities. Bird and animal feed can be purchased at local shops to entice visits from the local wildlife.

The property features an open garden where children can play and observe animals up close. The main house has two bedrooms that accommodate four guests, with the main bedroom featuring a queen-size bed and the second room having two single beds.
