Medindi Manor is a secluded Edwardian manor of grand dimensions located at the foot of Table Mountain. It is surrounded by grounds and has a garden and sparkling swimming pool. The manor offers comfortable and stylishly decorated bedrooms with period pieces. Some of the rooms have their own doors leading out onto the verandas that run along the ground and first floors.

The main building, constructed in the late 1890s, has recently undergone renovations that have been carried out with a keen sense of preserving the period's aesthetic. The bedrooms are equipped with bar-fridges, telephones, TVs, coffee and tea-making facilities, and towels. Unique antique touches can be found throughout, such as Edwardian designs for stately marble and slate floors, and magnificent antique wardrobes in each bedroom. The bathrooms feature free-standing baths, Victorian plate shower heads, brass fittings, and small antique cabinets.

Many rooms in the Manor house still retain their original Oregon pine floors, bay windows, intricate ceilings, and marble fireplaces. Modernity is also present in the form of bright wall colors like yellow, green, and blue, as well as splashes of modern art that bridge the gap between the turn of the previous century and the current one. Classical music and a bit of jazz can be heard wafting through the reception area, as music is an important ingredient for Kyle, the owner/manager of Medindi Manor.

The establishment is a free-wheeling, relaxed, and youthful place. A particular room facing the Manor house opens up into the beautiful gardens. It features either a queen-size extra-length bed, a study table and chair, a TV with satellite channels, a mini-bar fridge, and an en-suite bathroom.
