Melkboom Self-Catering Villa is a six-bedroom accommodation with four bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The establishment provides all linen, blankets, and towels for the convenience of guests. The fully equipped kitchen features a stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, and toaster, allowing for self-catering meals that can be enjoyed at the dining table. The lounge area is equipped with a TV and a full DSTV package.

The open-plan living area opens onto a seafront patio, while the backyard has an outdoor braai area under the milkwood trees. Double garage parking is available on the premises. The house is equipped with a laundry area featuring a washing machine and tumble drier. For security purposes, the property has an alarm system with armed response, and guests are requested to keep the alarm active when not at home. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.

Located on the beachfront, guests can indulge in various activities such as fishing from the rocks, snorkeling, or whale watching from the patio during the months of June to November. The nearby Dyer Island cormorant colony offers a wonderful sight as the birds leave the colony. Guests can also explore the Groot Melkhout Trail, a beautiful 2 km circular trail.
