Melkbosch Guest House

The Melkbosch Guest House is situated in the village of Melkbosstrand on the West Coast of the Cape Peninsula. It is approximately 20 minutes away from the city center, 35 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, and within sight and sound of the ocean. The guest house caters to individuals who wish to escape the city without being too far from their business.

Most of the upstairs rooms at the guest house are sunny and north-facing, with en-suite bathrooms. Each room is equipped with a fully stocked bar fridge, coffee and tea-making facilities, remote-controlled TV with DSTV, and a writing bureau. All rooms feature a private entrance, and most lead onto the balcony through a sliding door overlooking the enclosed garden and barbecue area.

The self-catering units are located downstairs and also have en-suite bathrooms. Each unit has a fully stocked bar fridge, kitchenette, remote-controlled TV with DSTV, and a writing bureau. These units have separate entrances leading into the enclosed tropical garden and barbecue area.

For adventure enthusiasts, the area offers activities such as skydiving, kite surfing, 4x4 and quad bike riding, all within close proximity to the Melkbosch Guest House. The Cape region is also renowned for its wine-making, making day trip wine tours a popular pastime among regular visitors. The Western Cape offers a range of experiences, from exploring Cape Town to navigating the southernmost point of Africa at Cape Point. Additionally, Melkbosstrand serves as the entry point to the scenic West Coast, famous for its wildflowers in spring.

The guest house offers rooms with DSTV, a swimming pool, and is about 80 meters from the beach. Certain rooms cater to families, and shopping malls and the V&A Waterfront with playgrounds are within a 30-minute drive.
