Melton Wold Guest Farm is a working game and sheep farm located on the R63 between Victoria West and Loxton. It provides accommodation in a congenial 1889 farm house that has been enlarged over the years. Melton Wold is the oldest guest farm in South Africa, having first opened to guests in 1935.

The farm is considered the perfect venue for family holidays, weddings, conferences, and large gatherings. It produces most of its own vegetables, bakes its own bread, and makes its own preserves, with all meat and venison coming directly from the farm itself, forming the foundation of its renowned cuisine. Guests are spoiled every morning with a wake-up call, and coffee or tea is served in their rooms.

While children enjoy the activities on the farm, parents can relax in the fully licensed ladies bar, The Deer and Pheasant. A caravan park was opened in 2016. Melton Wold Guest Farm is an oasis in the heart of the Karoo, offering Karoo hospitality at its best on a historic farm where time seems to stand still. It can accommodate up to 100 guests and is promoted as an ideal location for a traditional Karoo wedding.

Game drives are available at an extra cost. The farm offers family rooms with or without fireplaces, as well as a playground, trampoline, swimming pool, cycling facilities, decoids, and table tennis. Nannies can be arranged to look after children. Double bedrooms without private bathrooms are available, featuring a basin and radio in the room.
