Misty Valley Lodge

Misty Valley Lodge is located a few kilometers above Waterval Boven, on one of the highest lying farms in Mpumalanga and is part of the Highland Meander. It is surrounded by unspoiled forest and mountain scenery. The lodge offers comfortable and luxurious four star accommodation in the heart of the escarpment and is easily accessible from Machadodorp in Mpumalanga.

Patrons have a choice of fully serviced, very comfortable self-catering chalets or newly built log cabins. These units can accommodate up to ten patrons at a time and are fully furnished. All accommodation facilities are serviced daily for the convenience of guests. Guests can indulge in many activities, as the facilities and activities ensure an entertaining stay for those who want to remain busy.

Misty Valley Lodge is a child-friendly resort and can arrange for a well-trained and competent babysitter to look after children upon prior request. The lodge hosts children's activities every weekend, including Wii, Nintendo, cooking and baking, target shooting, ketty shooting, and various other activities for children.

The self-catering units have fully equipped open plan kitchens with en-suite bathrooms. Each unit has a double bed with a sleeper couch and DSTV. The units can accommodate 2 adults and 2 small children.

The lodge features a gazebo with roses lining the walkway, a superb indoor venue with a fireplace, a range of luxury accommodation, outstanding menus to choose from, a wide range of activities for guests, and a cozy restaurant and bar.
