Mkomazana Mountain Cottages is a historic property situated at the foot of Sani Pass within a World Heritage Site in the Southern Drakensberg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Located just 8km from the Lesotho border, the establishment originated as a trading post in the 1800s and has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its rustic charm while offering modern comforts.

The property is encompassed by the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park and features the Mkomazana River and two dams within its boundaries. It comprises several accommodation options, including restored farmhouses and new cottages. Valley House, Stone House, Coot Cottage, Stone Cottage, Rose Cottage, and Barn House each offer unique characteristics and varying capacities to accommodate different group sizes.

The location serves as a paradise for nature enthusiasts, offering frequent sightings of reedbuck and eland along its walking trails. The area boasts exceptional birdwatching opportunities, with species including the Black Eagle, Bearded Vulture, Barrett's Warbler, and Fairy Flycatcher.
