Mogalakwena River Lodge

Mogalakwena River Lodge is a holistic African safari camp located in the Limpopo River Valley on the banks of the Mogalakwena River. It provides access to the splendour of the bushveld and offers an intimate experience with a feeling of tranquillity. The lodge can accommodate sixteen guests in four unique deluxe Main Lodge Rooms and four luxurious Private Chalets overlooking the river.

The lodge features include a lower and upper viewing deck facing the river, open dining and lounge areas, a swimming pool, and a bar around a central open fireplace. The spacious rooms are equipped with air-conditioning or fans, king/queen sized beds, en-suite bathrooms with shower and/or bath, and tea/coffee facilities. It offers accompanied game drives, wildlife walks, bird watching, and a Research Centre providing visual and scientific data on the surroundings as well as participation in ongoing research projects.

Within walking distance, there is a Craft Art Village and Artist's Retreat open for creative activities, tours, and quality shopping. The lodge tailors all activities to suit guest requirements. It also has a well-equipped conference and functions venue for executive conferences and private functions, making it a unique venue for weddings, conferences, and special celebrations.

Mogalakwena River Lodge's philosophy is to provide complete privacy and the highest standards of hospitality with personal attention and efficient service. It features a wedding chapel situated on the banks of the Mogalakwena River, which can seat up to 120 people. The Event Centre can accommodate 120 people for a sit-down dinner and 150 people for a cocktail function. The deluxe main lodge rooms have en-suite bathrooms opening onto the central lounge area with an open fireplace and viewing deck.
