Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge

Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge is a relaxing and friendly oasis located in the vast Balule Nature Reserve, which is home to a diverse array of fauna and flora, including the legendary Big 5 animals. The lodge is owned and operated by Jacques, Nina, and their colleagues, who warmly welcome guests to experience the beauty of the African bush.

The lodge's guides are experienced and enthusiastic, and they take guests on unforgettable game drives and foot safaris, bringing them up close to the natural wonders of the reserve. Accommodation is provided in comfortable thatched rondawels, which are decorated in an African theme and feature outdoor showers.

Guests can unwind during the heat of the day around a sparkling swimming pool or in the shade of the lapa, under giant acacia trees. The lodge offers romantic dinners under the stars, often accompanied by the roaring of lions and the whooping of hyenas. Guests can enjoy cozy evenings in the boma, dining around a campfire or, on warmer nights, out on the open plain in front of the lodge.

Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge is easily accessible by road or by daily flights from Johannesburg. It is situated within the vast Balule Nature Reserve, which is integrated with the Kruger National Park, allowing Africa's big game and smaller creatures to roam freely. The lodge brings these animals close to guests through open vehicle safaris and bush walks.

The accommodation at the lodge includes a beautiful African-style thatched-roof rondavel, decorated in an ethnic theme, with a king-size bed and a wonderful outdoor shower. A single bed can be added for one additional person. The rate includes two safari activities.
