Molalatau Lodge, which means "the resting place of the lion", is a small oasis located in the heart of the Bushveld region. It is situated at the spot where the Mogolo River and the Rietspruit converge, located among Nyala and Water-berry trees. The lodge offers a peaceful setting, surrounded by verdant green lawns, colorful gardens, and beautiful accommodations.

The accommodations at Molalatau Lodge consist of Bushbuck Chalets, Eagle Rooms, Monkey Cabins, Leopard Cottage, King Fisher Rooms, and a spacious camping area with immaculately clean ablution blocks. The lodge provides both Bed & Breakfast and Self-Catering options. It welcomes guests of all kinds, including animals.

Situated on the banks of the Mokolo River and at the mouth of the Rietspruit, the resort is surrounded by the picturesque Waterberg Mountains. The rich birdlife provides a melodious soundtrack to the Bushveld, while the indigenous trees offer tranquility, calmness, and protection from the hot sun. The lodge features amenities such as a swimming pool, ablution blocks, volleyball court, and braai area.

Guests can relax at the open Bar, overlooking the Mokolo River near the swimming area, where refreshing beverages are served. The a la carte Restaurant caters not only to the King of the Jungle but to all visitors, be they sharks, bulls, or wallabies. Additionally, the lodge has a large hall suitable for hosting dream weddings, conferences, and various other functions.

Molalatau Lodge is located 8km from Lephalale on the river bank of the Mokolo River. The Standard Self-catering wood cabins accommodate single adults or shared occupancy. The lodge provides a garden area with braai facilities, a swimming pool, and a sports bar with a big-screen DSTV.
