Montrose Cottage is a self-catering accommodation located on the Brandwag farm, situated just outside of Hartenbos. It offers a comfortable stay for a family of four. The cottage features a rustic design with a large lounge that includes a dining room table and a fireplace. The lounge leads to a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a bar fridge, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. However, it does not have an oven or a TV. The kitchen opens up to a patio with a braai area, a table, and chairs for outdoor dining, providing spectacular views of the surrounding Swartberg Mountains.

The farm offers an ideal setting for mountain biking, and guests can also visit nearby game reserves. Montrose Cottage is conveniently located a short drive from the beach in Hartenbos, and Mossel Bay, which offers a casino, shops, and restaurants, is also within close proximity. The cottage can accommodate two adults and two children. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, including a shower, toilet, and basin. Additionally, there is a sleeper couch in the lounge area for children.
