Monwana Game Lodge

Monwana Game Lodge is situated in the heart of the Thornybush Game Reserve, which shares common boundaries with the Greater Kruger National Park and is approximately 11,000 hectares in size. This area is known for its abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five and other species of mammals and birds. The lodge itself offers luxurious accommodations and modern facilities, providing guests with a comfortable and stylish experience during their African safari.

The lodge is located on the perennial Monwana River, with a strategically positioned waterhole that allows for game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The Monwana River is an important ecological feature of the Thornybush Game Reserve, flowing briefly after heavy rains. The reserve is renowned for its rich diversity of animal and birdlife, with over 56 mammal species and 300 bird species recorded.

Monwana Game Lodge consists of six luxury suites, each featuring en-suite facilities, a king-size bed, a private deck overlooking the waterhole, and a bath and shower with views of the Monwana River bed.
